Traffic Light

Put in a research idea. The Traffic Light searches PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov, weighs what it finds and gives a green, amber or red light. Red means not this way, never not at all.

Free: 3 checks a day.

One or two sentences. Say who, what you would compare, and what you would measure.

Describe an idea, not a patient. Leave out names, initials, dates of birth, record numbers and exact dates of care. This is not a HIPAA-compliant channel.

Takes about 40 seconds. It searches PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov, then weighs what it finds.

Your idea goes to Anthropic, our AI provider, to build the search and weigh the results, and the search terms go to PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov. AskDimitri does not keep your idea or the result. The searches and what PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov return are cached for up to 7 days, not linked to you. Anthropic deletes what it receives within 30 days (longer only if flagged for a safety review). See the Privacy policy.

What this checks, and what it does not

The check turns your idea into search terms, counts what PubMed holds on it, looks for systematic reviews, randomised trials and registered trials, and reads the titles and abstracts it finds. Fixed, published rules then set the light.

It searches PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov only. It does not search Embase, Scopus, conference abstracts, preprints, PROSPERO or other trial registries, and it reads abstracts, not full papers. It is a screening check, not a systematic search.
