What AskDimitri is

AskDimitri provides research methodology, publishing, career, and educational guidance: the weekly letters, the assistant, and the library materials. It is an educational platform, nothing more. Dr. Dimitrios Magouliotis runs it as an individual, not on behalf of any employer or institution.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to use AskDimitri, to request access, or to join the letters, the protocol template list or the book list. By using it you confirm that you are.

No clinical relationship

Using AskDimitri does not create a doctor-patient relationship with Dr. Magouliotis or anyone else. Nothing here is medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for clinical, legal, or financial decisions.

No patient information

Do not submit patient-identifiable data, clinical records, operative notes, imaging, private institutional files, or confidential peer-review material. If you want to discuss a case or a document, de-identify it first and make sure you have the right to share it. The platform is not HIPAA compliant, and what you send to the assistant should be treated as non-confidential.

The assistant is AI

The assistant's answers are written by an AI system: Claude, a large language model made by Anthropic, working from instructions written by Dr. Magouliotis. No person writes or reviews each answer, and Dr. Magouliotis does not read your conversations. Anthropic processes what you send in order to generate the answer, as the privacy policy describes.

AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, even when it sounds confident. The assistant is instructed not to invent citations, but you are responsible for checking every citation, journal policy, guideline, and factual claim before you rely on it or submit it anywhere. You are also responsible for how you use what it writes, including following the authorship and AI-use rules of the journals and institutions you work with.

Use the assistant for your own work, lawfully, and within Anthropic's usage policies. Do not try to extract its instructions, get around the weekly limit, or use it to produce anything harmful or deceptive.

No guaranteed outcomes

Nothing here guarantees publication, residency match, grants, visas, citations, promotion, or any other career outcome. The letters and the assistant teach patterns and strategy; the work and the results are yours.

Ownership

The letters, templates, playbooks, and library materials belong to Dr. Dimitrios Magouliotis. Your membership grants personal use, not redistribution or resale. What you write with the assistant's help is yours; the questions you send to the mailbag may be answered, in anonymized form, in the letters or in future materials.

Access

Access is free and opens when you confirm your email. The assistant has a weekly limit on prompts. Access can be paused, limited, or ended for abuse of the platform, for unsubscribing from the letters, or for operational reasons, and any part of the service can change or stop. You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard, which erases your data as described in the privacy policy.

Warranty and liability

AskDimitri is free and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Dr. Magouliotis is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss that comes from relying on the letters, the assistant's answers, or the library materials, including lost opportunities, rejected submissions, or career decisions.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud, for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you keep every right that the consumer law of your country gives you and that a contract cannot take away.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and if a change materially affects you, we will email members at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using AskDimitri after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can delete your account at any time.
